Critical Understanding of Masculinity in the Age of Gender Transformation

Abstract

The article represents comprehensive study of masculinity in the epoch of gender transformations. It is proved that masculinity is a derivative from gender ideology of a society and traditional views on the roles of men, modern economic reality and social situation. By considering masculinity its plurality, historical and situation circumstances should be taken into account.
