Unknown Pages of Ulyana Kravchenko’s Biography

Abstract


The article deals with the unknown pages of the life and creative work of the classic of Ukrainian literature Ulyana Kravchenko (1860–1947). On the basis of archival materials some important episodes from the life of the parents of the writer as well as her own family are studied. Particular attention is drawn to the 27-years period of life of U. Kravchenko in Peremyshl, which the author calls the “Golden Autumn”.
