Appearance and Formation of the Ukrainian Dramatic Theater in Dnieper Ukraine in the Second Half of the 19th Century

Abstract

In the article the history of appearance and formation of the Ukrainian professional dramatic theater in Dnieper Ukraine in the second half of the 19th century is investigated. The features of development of theater during this period are analyzed. The reasons and consequences of the conflicts between his founders became clear. In the article the connection of the theater with national and cultural revival is studied, its functions in this process are analyzed.
