Public Organizations’ Activities of the Ukrainian Community in the Republic of Belarus

Abstract

The process of creation and activity of the public organizations of national communities in the Republic of Belarus is analyzed in the article. The aims and directions of development of national public organizations of Ukrainians in Belarus in the Period of 1991–2014 are looked thorough. There public, cultural as well as educational actions are analyzed. The author comes to the conclusion about the significant role of Ukrainians in public and cultural life in Belarus as well as in the formation of civil society.
