Abstract


The process of nation-building and identity of Ukrainians is in the Habsburg Empire is studies. The article deals with the factors hampered the process of the nation’s creation. The model of Ukrainian political movement of thet period is characterized. The role of political experience of the Ukrainian parliamentary factions in formation of the Ukrainian traditions of parliamentarism is shown.
