Modern Ukrainian Gender Policy in the Light of European Civilizational’s Aspirations of Ukraine

Abstract

The article analyzes the current state of gender policy in Ukraine as a necessary component of the internal and foreign policy of the state on the way to the integration with the EU. The author understands the gender policy of the state in the broadest terms set of systemic measures aimed to the solving problems and achieving gender equality in the society. The article emphasizes the need of awareness of Ukrainian society the fact that gender equality is not a social utopian idea, but a vital requirement of modern civilized world.
