Intergenerational Differences in Value Dispositions in the Modern Ukrainian Society

Abstract

The article analyzes the characteristics of the value dispositions of youth and the older generation. It is defined how distinctive the hierarchy of values is as well as by the typical representatives of different age groups. Intergenerational differences are discussed in the light of the values and qualities of a person. It is also determined how the conflict of generations in the terms of social and cultural modernization is a typical for the Ukrainian society.
