Ukrainian Scientific Diaspora: New Challenges

Abstract

The article analyzes the stages of the Ukrainian scientific diaspora formation and current peculiarities of this process related to the Russian military aggression especially. Some examples of USA, Italy, Germany scientific diaspora representatives activity are presented: a protest against the article about the "Crimean science" in the "Science" journal, an explanation of hybrid war episodes in Ukraine for the Western public, creating Ukrainian Academic International Network, organization of Summer school on improvement specialists in biomedicine and so on. It is emphasized the important role of women-scientists in establishing and maintaining links with Motherland.
